| COMBAT DRAW FROM CONCEALED CARRY WITH FINGER-REST-EXTENSION-EQUIPPED
GLOCK® 26, 27, 33, or 39 |
When under the stress of close combat and the time
comes to go for your concealed handgun, an immediate, proper firing
grip is absolutely crucial. We at GAP Enterprises, Inc. have come
to refer to this as a positively locked firing grip when regarding
a Finger-Rest-Extension-equipped Glock® 26, 27, or 33. From the
moment your hand hits your weapon, to its clearing the holster and
placing that first effective round into the threat, without a proper
firing grip, you slip further onto the wrong side of the power curve.
The GAP Enterprises, Inc. Finger Rest Extension incorporates the combat
survival concepts of muscle-memory and large muscle movements by aiding
the shooter in quickly obtaining a proper firing grip with each and
every draw. The GAP Enterprises, Inc. Finger Rest Extension's ability
to positively lock the firing hand into a proper firing grip on the
weapon facilitates lightening-fast weapon presentation while in plain-clothes
or off duty from virtually any concealed-carry holster (inside-the-pants,
small-of-back, pancake, paddle, shoulder, "fanny bag," ankle,
cross-draw, etc.). The fact that such an effective firing grip can
be obtained on such a small weapon is noteworthy, and words can only
do so much to prove the point. The Finger Rest Extension's Concealable
Control is something that truly must be experienced.
This same immediate, positively locked firing grip concept applies
to on-duty law enforcement officers carrying the Glock® 26, 27,
or 33 as concealed back-up weapons. The GAP Enterprises, Inc. Finger
Rest Extension is currently in use by uniformed and under-cover police
officers, troopers, and deputies. These officers carry Glock®
Model 26s and 27s equipped with GAP Enterprises, Inc. Finger Rest
Extensions on-duty in a variety of concealed-carry holsters: ballistic
vest chest-pocket-type holster (allows a fast, easy draw with both
the right and left hands), ballistic vest under-the-arm holster (muzzle
down cross-draw on the side panel), and a standard, cross-draw shoulder
holster. These law enforcement professionals demand the best and are
firm believers in the combat effectiveness of Concealable Control. |
